‘Relationships as Catalysts for Change’

In social work’s distinguished history and roots in social justice, the importance of relationships is recognised as a central pillar for effective and meaningful practice, as well as leadership. This conference aims to explore and remind us of the profound impact of relationship-based practice and highlight how empowering connections can drive positive change for us as leaders of the profession, as well as for the individuals, families, and communities we work with.

The conference will provide delegates with;

- thought-provoking presentations on the complexities of relationships theory in practice, and partnerships and collaboration, to explore individual and collective empowerment for the profession,

- practical tools for relationship building and navigating power in today’s challenging context, to further develop leadership and profile, and

- connections with peers, practitioners, and experts from across the field to foster individual professional relationships

Recognise and refocus professional skills to enhance working in an integrated, challenging landscape and leave feeling proud and reinvigorated about the skillset you bring as a social work leader to be a critical agent of change.

Join us for a day of dynamic reflection on relationships through the leadership lens and an opportunity to further build confidence, connections, and collaboration.

 

There are 2 different packages to choose from below. 

Membership: Please note the membership rate relates to INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP STATUS. This is NOT available to corporate members. If you are unsure what membership status you have, please email admin@socialworkscotland.org. If you book by mistake and are not an individual member your booking will be automatically cancelled. We would encourage you to check this in advance of booking to avoid cancellation.

There will be a selection of live workshops at the 2025 Conference, you will be able to select what workshops you would like to attend in advance via a link that will be sent out to all those registered in due course.
